Today we celebrated the 100th day of school. What a day we had! Our pictures show us hunting for 100 kisses that were hidden throughout the room. Once we found them all we divided them up and shared. Next we saw how many things we could do in 100 seconds (jumping jacks, push ups, hopping on one foot, writing our name, etc.). Then we guessed where we would end up if we took 100 steps out of our room. Turned out we stopped at Ms. Copen’s class and the art room. Next we cycled through 6 centers that focused on the number 100. We built with 100 legos, made a tower with 100 cups, made 100 days smarter necklaces, put numbers in order, put 100 gum balls in a gumball machine and discovered how small our lollipops would get after 100 licks. We finished our day talking about 100 things we would want and 100 things we wouldn’t want. Thanks for sending in treats for our 100 day mix. It was yummy! Only 75 to go!
