The weather did not look promising when we boarded the bus! Luckily, by the time we got to Hardwick things were looking up. We were very excited to explore the brook and noticing the ice sheets that had formed. The water temperature has dropped to 40 degrees. We built our shelters and left some peanuts for out little woodland friends. The next time we come we will bring treats for the birds. Enjoy the pictures we have and may be adding some new pictures soon.

On Wednesday we went to the rail trail to make shelters for the little animals. It was a beautiful day and we were able to make some beautiful shelters that we hope will be helpful in the upcoming cold weather. We left a few treats and even enjoyed some ourselves We even found some paw prints. Thanks to Jack and Josh's dad for helping out! Today we visited the Danville Woods. What a time we had! We made little shelters for the small animals. We are hoping they will use them during the upcoming cold and snow. After our construction was complete, we left them peanuts and sunflower seeds for a snack. We were very creative in our building and were so engaged in our project. Enjoy our pictures.... On Thurs. Nov 9th you can join your child for our annual Thanksgiving Lunch. Lunch is $5.00 for adults. Our lunch time is 12:00. We would love to see you there!
Ms. Ferland's class spent some time this afternoon learning about the Day of the Dead, or Dia De Los Muertos. To celebrate, we made our own renditions of sugar skulls. Don't worry, we found Kobe's beautiful picture after we took this photo.
