Happy 101st day of school! Yesterday we celebrated the 100th day of school. We started our day by predicting where 100 steps would take us. Some predictions were: outside, to Mr. English's room, to the gym and to Ms. Copen's room. In the end, we wound up half way down the high school hallway. First graders also made predictions about how much 100 drops of water could fill up a cup. We were surprised to find how little water that actually was! We also created gumball machines filled with 100 gum balls and made creations out of 100 cups! With the 100 snack items that friends brought in we were able to create our 100 day trail mix. It was yummy! We spent some time seeing what we could accomplish in 100 seconds, deciding what our lives would be like when we were 100 years old and testing to see if we could eat a lollipop in 100 licks. Only 74 more days left...
